Jackson Hollow will open the 2026 River Concert season with a performance on June 12 at 7 p.m.
JUNO Award and Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated, Jackson Hollow has become one of Canada’s best-known contemporary bluegrass bands. The group has received national recognition, international media coverage, and toured widely across Canada and the United States.
The band’s growing profile has included performances at IBMA World of Bluegrass in Tennessee, official IBMA showcases, the IBMA Momentum Awards Show, Nashville’s Station Inn, Songbirds in Chattanooga, and the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival in Washington.
Jackson Hollow’s music has received radio airplay across Canada, the United States, and internationally, including on SiriusXM. The band has also charted on the Hooked on Bluegrass Top 50 and been featured in outlets such as Bluegrass Today, Americana UK, Bluegrass Australia, and Bluegrass Canada.
Recent singles include “Appalachia,” “Thank God for the Radio,” and “Wildflower.” The band is currently recording its second album for release in 2026.
