Browns Bay Resort sits on the historic waterfront on Discovery Passage, just north of Campbell River and beside Seymour Narrows. The bay long supported logging, commercial fishing, and sport angling.
After the 1958 Ripple Rock blast made the narrows safer, the site shifted from a working shoreline and small marina into a modest stop for boaters and fishermen, laying the groundwork for today’s resort.
