Here’s an exciting opportunity to share with someone you know: Toolbox to Trades, a fully funded Carpentry Essentials training program starting in Campbell River on July 7th.
This program offers hands-on, accessible training for people interested in exploring a career in carpentry, with a strong focus on supporting equity-deserving groups.
Participants receive:
- A full tool kit and PPE
- Meal stipends
- Transportation support
- Ongoing wraparound support to help them succeed
The Toolbox to Trades program helps people get ready for careers in the trades. If you are thinking about a hands-on job, this is a good place to start.
The goal is to make it easy for anyone to join the trades, even without past experience. People get a chance to practice with real equipment and tools, so you learn by doing.
Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to bring anything. Everything you need to learn is provided.
