About J Plank
J. Plank (aka Jeff Plankenhorn) is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and vocalist who has established himself as both a compelling solo artist and sought-after session musician in roots music.
After 20 years based in Austin, Texas, Plankenhorn recently relocated to Campbell River, British Columbia, after meeting his wife Donyne, who is from the area.
His sound blends elements of blues, folk, Americana, and roots music, combining “the soul of the church, Motown, and funk singers that dominated his youth with the bluegrass he studied in Nashville.”
