The Sportsplex, located in Willow Point Park, is a versatile facility catering to a range of sports and fitness needs.
Inside, you’ll find racquetball and squash courts, as well as a well-equipped weight room. There’s also a large gymnasium and several activity rooms, including a kitchen, all available for rent for meetings and events.
The park offers a variety of recreational activities such as tennis, beach volleyball, disc golf, and bocce. It also features several sports fields that are perfect for ball games.
Outside, the Skate/Terrain park is a hit with skateboarders, and the Splash Park promises endless fun for kids of all ages, especially on hot summer days.
Disc Golf at the Sportsplex
Cooper’s Hawk Disc Golf Course is one of the most popular activities at the Sportsplex. It’s a beautiful course, and a great way to spend an afternoon in Campbell River.
The course is open daily from dawn to dusk, and disc rentals are available.
Skatepark at the Sportsplex
The skatepark is also a popular area of the park. It is unsupervised, but the city does provide security patrols Wed-Sun from April to October.
Overall, the Sportsplex and Willow Point Park is a great location to hang out with family or friends!
