Course History

The Campbell River Golf Club traces its roots back to the 1950s, starting as a five-hole course named Glen Alder.

In April 2017, the club embarked on a 14-month restoration project led by Graham Cooke of Northern Golf Design. The transformation saw the former Sequoia Springs Golf Course re-emerge as a beautiful 18-hole, 6,100-yard resort-style course with rolling fairways and more than 200 trees.

The meticulously kept grounds are complemented by stunning landscaping, including several water features.

The course has been entirely rebuilt from tee to green, and the driving range was the first in Western Canada to use Toptracer range technology.

As part of the Vancouver Island Golf Trail, Campbell River Golf Club is locally owned, innovative, and inclusive. The club strives to make golf approachable for everyone.
