Join Librarian Meredith for a delightful Family Storytime and then an Open Playtime hour at the Campbell River Library!
Storytime is held from 10:30 to 11am on Thursdays and Saturdays, itโs a fantastic opportunity for little ones to enjoy stories and activities crafted to encourage early literacy.
Right after Family Storytime, it’s time for Open Playtime ๐ from 11am to 12pm, the Multipurpose Room transforms into a playful paradise filled with toys and board-books.
Kids can enjoy unstructured play and explore the library’s collection, while caregivers can relax and chat. You don’t need to have attended Storytime to join in on Open Playtime — everyone is welcome to drop by and stay for as long or as short as they like.
Perfect for children aged 2 to 4, this engaging session blends book reading, singing, and fun with scarves. More info here and here.
While it’s designed for preschoolers, kids of other ages are welcome too, as long as caregivers believe theyโll have a good time.
The event promises a cozy and fun environment where families can bond and children can delight in the magic of storytelling and play. ๐
Don’t let your little ones miss out on this recurring event, perfect for sparking their imaginations and introducing them to the joy of books and music.
