SiiBii – Storytelling Workshop and Acoustic Set

June 19 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

Spend your Thursday evening at a special storytelling workshop and acoustic set with Siibii, a queer, trans non-binary Indigenous pop singer and songwriter based in Montreal.

Siibii is originally from Mistissini, Quebec, and their name means “river” in Cree—a nod to their creative and ever-changing music journey.

Known for a unique pop sound and honest stories, Siibii blends electronic grooves with bright, airy vocals. Their style is often compared to artists like Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga.

Siibii’s song “YOY” has gained more than three million streams and won the SOCAN Young Canadian Songwriter Award. Their music has taken them to major festivals and big stages, including as an opener for Inuk musician Elisapie.

Siibii is a strong advocate for representation in pop music, bringing new voices and stories to the stage. With a debut album on the way and a recent signing to Ishkōdé Records, they are making bold moves in the music world.

Food and drinks will be available for a donation. Come out to hear music, stories, and experience an evening of creativity with Siibii. 🌊🎶🥗
