September 28 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Seffarine is coming to Rivercity Stage on September 28, with music starting at 7pm.
This group is led by vocalist Lamiae Naki and multi-instrumentalist Nat Hulskamp, who are partners in both music and life.
Their music blends Spanish flamenco, Moroccan Arabic melodies, and West African rhythms, all inspired by Lamiae’s family roots in the metalworking district of Fez, Morocco.
Seffarine’s sound is shaped by an international lineup, bringing together musicians from Iran, Spain, and the US.
Audiences can expect to hear the kamancheh (a Persian spike-fiddle), deep bass grooves, lively flamenco footwork, and Lamiae’s expressive vocals, all woven into a rich, dynamic experience.
The group is known for blending traditional and modern elements and for passionate improvisation.
General admission tickets are $30, or $20 if you want a more affordable option. Teens pay just $5, and children under 13 are free with an adult.
If you’re interested in global music with strong rhythms, striking melodies, and a unique story, this is a show you won’t want to miss 🌍🎶.
