It’s Ocean Week in Campbell River, and there’s a full lineup of fun events and hands-on activities for everyone! 🌊
From guided tours to art workshops, community cleanups to whale watching, there are lots of great ways to connect with the ocean, learn something new, and make a difference for our local waters.
Here are some highlights:
Humpback Whale Spotting – June 1st – Free workshop at Ken Forde Park (near the whale sculpture).
Willow Point Reef Tour & Sea Star Survey – June 2nd – Help contribute to the study of the health and population of the Ochre sea star.
Sea School Explorer Lab – June 3rd – Fun event for kids at the Maritime Heritage Centre.
Ken Forde Beach Cleanup – June 4th – Come out to help keep Campbell River shorelines clean.
