Join the Campbell River Community Action Team (CAT) for International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember those who have died without stigma, and acknowledge the grief of family and friends left behind.

Come together for a day of remembrance and awareness with activities and events designed to spark conversation and support:

• Live Butterfly Release: Witness a moving butterfly release at 4:00 PM in Spirit Square. 🦋

• Music & Ceremonies: Experience live music, a water ceremony, and the laying of flowers and crosses to honor those lost.

• Educational Booths: Visit various booths to learn more about overdose prevention and support services.

• T-Shirt Printing: From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, bring a shirt to be printed by Art Hive for a donation.

This day is not only a way to say good-bye but also an opportunity to educate and create awareness about the impact of overdose in our community.
