Today, there will be a low tide around 8:45am at approximately 1.42 meters. This is the perfect time to explore the rocky beaches of Campbell River and Shelter Point.
As very low tides tend to happen more at night in the winter, this will be one of the last low tides during daylight hours this year.

Almost any rocky shoreline is worth a visit, but one of the top spots is Shelter Point Beach and Reef. You can access this off the old Island Hwy, driving down to the end of Heard Rd.
