Known for his authentic roots and a long family lineage of ranchers and rodeo people, Lund effortlessly blends outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk genres with genuine curiosity and dedication.
Corb Lund’s journey began with a true DIY spirit. Starting his career recording in his basement, he took on various roles including shirt printing, tour booking, and managing his own publicity to build his name.
After years of touring with the indie-metal band The Smalls, he shifted focus to Western music, developing a unique and distinctive songwriting style.
Lund’s talent and hard work have earned him numerous awards and nominations both domestically and internationally. In 2022, he celebrated his 14th Canadian Country Music Award and made a memorable debut at the Grand Ole Opry.
His latest album of original songs, “El Viejo,” was released in February 2024, showcasing his continued musical evolution.
