If you’re up for a weekend that doesn’t take itself too seriously, the Colourful Run might be your thing.
Everyone starts out in clean clothes and ends up absolutely covered in bright colours after a few laps through Willow Point Park (Sportsplex).
No racing, no clocks… just walk, run, or skip however you want. Kids are everywhere, and honestly, adults don’t hold back either! 😄
Check-in starts at 9am, with the running (or walking) getting started at 9:30am. It’s open to all ages, and if the little ones are under 5, it’s free for them. Six and up—just a $5 fee, which keeps it pretty family-friendly.
After the route, everyone hangs around for snacks, music, and the chance to hit up a giant foam pit by the Splash Park. If you’ve never worn rainbow powder in your hair or watched your friends get doused in purple, consider this your shot.
Bring an old shirt, maybe a towel for cleanup, and a good sense of humour. Rain or shine, it’s just about making memories with friends and family 🎉.
