Fun Things to Do on Christmas Eve
Museum Tour: The museum is open on Christmas Eve, check it out to see their Festival of Trees!
Skate and Swim: Reindeer Games & more at Strathcona Gardens, the pool will host a special swim from 12pm to 2:30pm, and skating is available from 1pm – 3:30pm
Tour Holiday Lights: Explore the best holiday light displays throughout the town. Use the city’s collaborative map of well-decorated houses to guide your tour.
Walk the Seawalk: Enjoy a refreshing stroll along the Seawalk.
Visit Elk Falls Suspension Bridge: Winter is a fantastic time to experience the natural beauty of the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge. Dress warm!
Stroll the Pier: Take in the views from the pier for a relaxing afternoon.
Disc Golf at the Sportsplex: While the Sportsplex itself will be closed, the disc golf course remains open for a fun game with family or friends.
Casino: The Casino will be open – try your luck and enjoy some entertainment, and get some food at the adjacent Matches restaurant.

St. Patrick’s Parish – Vigil at 4pm, then carols & mass in the evening.
CR Baptist Church – Christmas Eve service from 5pm – 6pm
St Peter Anglican Church – Has a Christmas Eve family service at 4pm
