The 23rd annual Charity Chum Derby runs from October 17 to 19, 2025. Registration begins Friday night when participants arrive.
After checking in and unpacking, guests can enjoy live entertainment in a heated tent at the marina parking lot.
Fishing kicks off Saturday morning and lasts through the day. Saturday night brings more live music in the tent. On Sunday, fishing only runs for half the day.
The event wraps up with an awards ceremony in the tent, where cash prizes are handed out for the top three biggest fish, along with other awards. There are also many door prizes available, so everyone has a chance to win something.
Over the years, the Derby has raised nearly $200,000 in support of Greenways Land Trust and local salmon enhancement efforts.
