The date has arrived: Campbell River’s beloved Big Truck Parade starts today at 5pm!
The parade starts in Willow Point around 5pm (at Simms Rd), and ends downtown near Spirit Square around 6pm.
Once downtown, take in the Christmas Tree lighting (7pm) on Shoppers Row, soak up live music, and wander through the gingerbread house contest.
You can warm up by a fire roast in the square and enjoy extra shopping time. Many local shops are open late with holiday deals to help you get a jump on your gift list!
The whole evening is free!
Parking Tip: For easier parking, try leaving your car a few blocks away and take a short walk in, as the parking at Tyee Plaza near Spirit Square will likely fill up fast.
Come early and grab dinner before the fun begins! Or grab something from local food trucks and vendors that will downtown for the event.
