Learn embroidery-style beadwork with Métis artist Carly Nabess in this two-day workshop.
Participants will create a mini beaded floral pin while exploring personal identity through design.
Carly will share the cultural significance of beadwork to the Métis community and discuss her artistic practice.

About Carly Nabess:
Carly Nabess is a two-spirit Métis multidisciplinary artist from Terrace, BC. Her work includes community murals, Métis floral beadwork, and watercolour painting, exploring themes of land, memory, healing, and identity.
She serves as Métis Women’s Representative for her local community and is pursuing her MFA at Emily Carr, focusing on Métis embroidery-style beadwork.
