Landscape painters will fill Campbell River on September 6 and 7 at the 9th Annual Campbell River Paint Out, happening at Sybil Andrews’ Cottage in Willow Point.
Artists will bring their easels and paints outside, capturing the light, color, and scenery in real time.
Supported by International Plein Air Painters and the Campbell River Arts Council, this event is part of a worldwide celebration of plein air painting.
Everyone is welcome to wander from artist to artist and watch paintings come together outdoors.
You’ll see artists using oils, watercolors, and pastels, all inspired by nature.
The Paint Out ends with a public art exhibit at 3 pm on Sunday at the Cottage, showing off the work created over the weekend.
This is a unique chance to watch creativity in action and meet artists who love painting outdoors. Campbell River joins cities all around the globe in this annual event! 🌳🎨👩🎨
