Beaver Lodge Forest Ecology Walk

May 26 @ 10:00 am

Join Cynthia Lu, BLTS Director, Forest Professional, and North Island College Forest Technology Instructor, for a morning walk in the Forest to discuss the forest ecology of the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands.

During this walk, Cynthia will explain how forest composition and structure change over time, as well as how soils and the physical environment influence which trees, shrubs, and herbs may grow in a given area.

All members and their guests are welcome to participate in what promises to be an enjoyable, educational walk.

The group will meet at the Kiosk at the start of the Rail Trail at Hilchey Road and Dogwood Road.
