The BC Salmon Farmers Association and its members are gearing up for a big day in Campbell River!
They are hosting a community appreciation BBQ at Robert Ostler Park, offering a fun-filled day with various engagement stations. 🍔🌞

👓 The event will feature a Virtual Reality station where attendees can take a tour of a salmon farm, and an “Ask Us Anything” booth for all your salmon farming questions.
🎡 The Kid’s Zone will include a craft area and a bouncy castle, ensuring fun for the little ones.
📸 Don’t miss the Photo Booth for some memorable snaps, and visit the Aqua Guardians Station with the BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences for some interactive learning.
🌿 Additionally, there will be a First Nations-Led Salmon Farming booth with the Coalition of First Nations for Finfish Stewardship.
🍣 Attendees can enjoy deliciously grilled salmon cooked up on site. Yummy!
The goal of this event is to show appreciation for employees, the business community, and the local communities where they live and work. 🌏❤️
🎫 Admission is by a suggested $5 minimum donation to the Campbell River Food Bank. They are also looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. 🤝
